This is an original, British quad theatrical movie poster from 1982 for the initial release of Das Boot (The Boat) starring Jurgen Prochnow, Herbert Gronemeyer, Klaus Wennemann, Hubertus Bengsch, and Martin Semmelrogge. Wolfgang Petersen directed the classic World War II submarine film.
The poster measures 30” x 40” and is in very good condition with some wear and surface creasing around the edges from previous handling. There is a tiny tear on the bottom-right edge. The poster was folded at the time of printing but has has been stored flat for many years. It will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
