This is an original, linen-backed, French grande theatrical movie poster from the 1950s for an early, theatrical re-release of From Here to Eternity starring Burt Lancaster, Montgomery Clift, Deborah Kerr, Frank Sinatra, Donna Reed, Ernest Borgnine and George Reeves. Fred Zinnemann directed the classic World War II film.
The poster measures 45.5" x 62" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The poster was in very good condition prior to restoration with a few creases and tears on parts of the fold lines from previous handling. It was folded at the time of printing but the folds are much less noticeable after restoration. There is a faint, diagonal crease in the upper-right corner. The poster will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
Please look very closely at the photos as this is the exact poster you are buying. It is not a stock image. The black circles in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
