Star Wars (1977)

This is an original, one-sheet movie poster from 1977 for Star Wars starring Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Alec Guinness, James Earl Jones, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker.  George Lucas directed the classic, science fiction film.  Tom William Chantrell is the artist for the poster.

The Style C poster was printed in small numbers and almost exclusively for use in theaters outside the United States.  The poster has no MPAA rating.  The poster was heavily bootlegged and there are numerous forgeries sold as originals.  This poster has been very carefully sourced and inspected.  It comes with a lifetime, money-back guarantee of authenticity.    

The poster measures 27" x 41" and is in very good to excellent condition with minor fold wear and a very tiny, horizontal crease in the bottom, white border.  It was tri-folded at the time of printing and has no vertical fold line down the middle of the poster.   The poster has been stored flat for many years and will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
