This is an original, Italian 4 fogli movie poster from 1971 for a theatrical re-release of The Blob (1958) starring Steve McQueen, Aneta Corsaut, Earl Rowe, Olin Howlin, Stephen Chase, John Benson, and George Karas. Irvin S. Yeaworth Jr. directed the classic science fiction-horror thriller. Mario Piovano is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 55” x 78” and was printed in two sections that are designed to overlap. It ids inn very good to excellent, unused condition with minimal wear from handling and storage. The poster was folded at the time of printing however it has one less set of fold lines compared to most 4 foglis (it was folded one less time). Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). The small, black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
