This is an original, one-sheet movie poster from 1978 for Jaws 2 starring Roy Scheider, Lorraine Gary, Murray Hamilton, Joseph Mascolo, Jeffrey Kramer, Collin Wilcox Paxton and Cindy Grover. Jeannot Szwarc directed the sequel. Lou Feck is the artist for the poster.
The "shark facts" poster was distributed to select theaters to promote the film. It measures 27” x 41” and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The poster was in very good condition prior to linen-backing with minor fold wear. It was folded at the time of printing but the folds are much less noticeable after linen-backing. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not a stock image. The small, black circles in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
This rare and very collectible poster, printed in 1978 to promote the theatrical release of Jaws 2, is not a reprint or reproduction.
