This is an original, two-sided, Japanese theatrical movie poster from 1968 for the initial, theatrical release of 2001: A Space Odyssey starring Gary Lockwood, Keir Dullea, William Sylvester, Daniel Richter, Leonard Rossiter, Robert Beatty and Douglas Rain. Stanley Kubrick directed the film.
The extremely rare and unusual poster is two-sided and features completely different artwork on each side. The poster measures 19.75" x 29" (it has not been trimmed) and is in very good condition with a few, faint creases and some minor edge and fold wear from previous handling. It was folded at the time of printing but has been stored flat for many years. The poster will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not a stock image. The black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins. Note that this is one poster with two designs and is not two separate posters.
