This is an original one sheet movie poster from 1944 for Atlantic City starring Constance Moore, Brad Taylor, Charley Grapewin, Jerry Colonna, Robert B. Castaine, Adele Mara, Paul Whiteman, Louis Armstrong, and Dorothy Dandridge. Ray McCarey directed the musical film.
The poster measures 27” x 41” and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. Prior to linen-backing the poster was in very good condition with some tape residue and wear along some of the edges and minor fold wear.It was folded at the time of printing but the folds are much less noticeable after linen-backing. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer. Please note that the restorer or a subsequent owner trimmed away the excess linen for framing.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). The black circles in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
