This is an original, linen-backed one-sheet movie poster from 1982 for E.T. The Extra Terrestrial starring Henry Thomas, Dee Wallace, Peter Coyote and Drew Barrymore. Steven Spielberg directed the classic film. John Alvin is the artist for the poster.
The National Screen Service-issued poster measures 27" x 41" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. It was in good condition prior to backing with several pinholes in the corners from theatrical display (some with small tears from rough removal), two small tears in the lower-white edge, scattered surface scuffs, and wear along the fold lines from previous handling. It was folded at the time of printing but the folds are less noticeable after backing. The poster was linen-backed in the European style without significant restoration to noted defects. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image. The black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
