This is an original, linen-backed, Mexican movie poster from 1957 for Mexican action thriller El Tesoro de Pancho Villa ("The Treasure of Pancho Villa") starring Fernando Oses, Alicia Caro, Rodolfo Landa, Pascual Garcia Pena, Carlos Muzquiz, Guillermo Hernandez, and Rafael Banquells. Rafael Baledon directed the film as part of the Avenging Shadow (La Sombra Vengadora) masked avenger series. Francisco Diaz Moffitt is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 26.75” x 37.25” and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. Prior to restoration, the poster was in good to very good condition with a few faint creases and scuffs on the upper portion of the poster from handling. The edges of the poster had slightly darkened. It was folded at the time of printing but the folds are much less noticeable after restoration.
