This is an original Italian 2 Fogli movie poster from 1964 for How the West Was Won starring Henry Fonda, Carroll Baker, Gregory Peck, John Wayne, Karl Malden, George Peppard, Debbie Reynolds, Jimmy Stewart and Eli Wallach. John Ford, Henry Hathaway and George Marshall directed the western epic.Reynold Brown is the artist for the poster. The famous artist was commissioned to paint four landscapes for the promotional posters for the film. This poster features two of those paintings.
The poster measures 39" x 55" and is in very good condition with some minor edge wear (including a few tiny tears) and a small separation at the middle cross-fold. It was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
