This is an original, rolled, one-sheet movie poster from 1989 for My Left Foot starring Daniel Day-Lewis, Ray McAnally, Brenda Fricker, Fiona Shaw, Hugh O'Conor, Adrian Dunbar, Ruth McCabe and Cyril Cusack. Jim Sheridan directed the movie based on the autobiographical book by Christy Brown.
The film had a very limited release in New York and Los Angeles in November of 1989 to qualify for Academy Awards consideration. The film won awards at the 62nd Academy Awards on March 26, 1990 and was widely released in the U.S. 4 days later. A white sticker (or snipe) was them placed across the top of the limited release posters advertising the wins.
The single-sided poster measures 27” x 40” and is in very good condition with very minor edge wear from previous handling. It has never been folded.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). The small black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets.
