Superman II (1980)

This is an original, linen-backed, Italian 2 fogli movie poster from 1981 for Superman II starring Christopher Reeve, Gene Hackman, Ned Beatty, Margot Kidder, Jackie Cooper, Valerie Perrine, Sarah Douglas, Marc McClure and Susannah York. Richard Lester directed the superhero sequel. Daniel Goozee created the art for the poster.

The poster measures 39” x 55” and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. It was in very good condition prior to restoration with pinholes from theatrical display and a tiny bit of paper loss and creasing along some of the folds. It was folded at the time of printing but the fold lines are much less noticeable after backing. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.

Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). The small, black circles in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
