This is an original Italian two-sheet movie poster from 1981 for Superman II starring Christopher Reeve, Gene Hackman, Ned Beatty, Margot Kidder, Jackie Cooper, Valerie Perrine, Sarah Douglas, Marc McClure and Susannah York. Richard Lester directed the superhero sequel (who got the job after the original director, Richard Donner, was infamously fired by the producers). Daniel Goozee created the art for the poster.
The 2 Fogli movie poster measures 39” x 55” and is in very good to excellent condition with minor edge wear. This poster, like nearly all Italian one panel movie posters, was folded before being shipped to theaters for display. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for collectible movie posters.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). The small, black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
