This is an original, French grande theatrical movie poster from 1975 for The Downing Pool starring Paul Newman, Joanne Woodward, Tony Franciosa, Linda Haynes, Melanie Griffith, Richard Jaeckel, and Gail Strickland. Stuart Rosenberg directed the sequel to the 1966 film Harper. Jean Mascii is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 47.25” x 63.25” and is in very good condition with minor edge wear and creasing from previous handling. It was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters. There is a pinhole separation at the top-right cross-fold.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image. The black squares in the corners and edges of the poster are magnets and not pins.
