This is an original, linen-backed, English one-sheet movie poster from 1972 for The Godfather starring Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, James Caan, Robert Duvall, Diane Keaton, Talia Shire and John Cazale. Francis Ford Coppola directed the Academy Award-winning film based on the book by Mario Puzo. S. Neil Fujita is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 27" x 40" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The poster was in very good condition prior to restoration with minor edge and fold wear from previous handling. The poster was folded at the time of printing and there was a small tear to the left of the middle-cross-fold. The folds are much less noticeable after linen-backing. The poster was theatrically displayed in New Zealand and has a very faint ratings stamp in the lower-right corner.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image. The black circles in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
