This is an original, rolled, Style D, thirty by forty theatrical movie poster from 1974 for Thunderbolt and Lightfoot starring Clint Eastwood, Jeff Bridges, George Kennedy, Gary Busey, and Jack Dodson. Michael Cimino directed the crime thriller. Arnaldo Putzu is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 30" x 40" and is in very good condition with some light creasing and wear along the edges from previous handling. It has never been folded but has very light, horizontal waves at the top and bottom middle of the poster from previous storage with other posters. These flatten out and are not creases. Thirty by forty posters were printed on slightly thicker paper stock compared to one-sheet posters.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image. The black squares on the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
This very rare and collectible poster, printed in 1974 to promote the theatrical release of Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
