This is an original, French moyenne theatrical movie poster from 1975 for Tommy starring Ann-Margret, Oliver Reed, Roger Daltrey, Elton John, Eric Clapton, Keith Moon, Jack Nicholson, Pete Townshend and Tina Turner. Ken Russell directed the rock musical with music by The Who. Roger Boumendil is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 22.5" x 30.25" and is in good condition with several pinholes in each corner, and a few on the left and right edges, from theatrical display. There is some paper loss on the bottom-left corner and some enlarged pinholes from rough removal. There is also a small tear on the lower-left edge. It was folded at the time of printing and has a pinhole separation at the middle cross-fold. The poster has been stored flat for many years and will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
