This is an original, linen-backed, teaser one-sheet movie poster from 1992 for Unforgiven starring Clint Eastwood, Gene Hackman, Morgan Freeman, Richard Harris, and Jaimz Woolvett. Clint Eastwood also directed the Academy Award-winning western. Bill Gold is the artist for the poster.
There were two teaser one-sheet posters printed for Unforgiven: one with the August 7 release date listed and one without any date. This poster is the version without any date. It was printed in much smaller quantities compared to the dated teaser.
The poster measures 27” x 40” (it has not been trimmed) and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. It was in very good condition prior to backing with pinholes in the corners from theatrical display. It was folded at the time of printing and had minor fold wear. The folds are less noticeable after backing. The poster was linen-backed in the European style without any restoration to noted defects. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image. The black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
