This is an original one-sheet movie poster from 1979 for a double-bill re-release of Grease and Saturday Night Fever. Grease stars John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John, Stockard Channing, Frankie Avalon and Sid Caesar. Saturday Night Fever stars John Travolta, Karen Lynn Gorney, Barry Miller, Joseph Cali, Paul Pape and Donna Pescow. The two films were released together in March 1979 (around the same time that Saturday Night Fever was re-released with a PG rating).
The poster measures 27” x 41” and is in very good condition. Like most one-sheet posters printed before 1990, this poster was folded before being shipped to a movie theater. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters. The poster has minor fold and edge wear.
