This is an original three-sheet movie poster from 1956 for a theatrical re-release of Citizen Kane. The classic film stars Orson Welles, Joseph Cotten, Dorothy Comingore, Everett Sloane, Ray Collins, George Coulouris, Agnes Moorehead and Paul Stewart. Orson Welles also directed the film.
The poster measures 41" x 81" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. It was printed in two sections designed to overlap. Both sections are now mounted on linen and ready for framing. It was in good to very good condition prior to linen-backing with a few surface tears, creasing and edge wear. The poster was folded at the time of printing but the folds are much less noticeable after linen-backing. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image. The black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
